Context mismatch @daliahalabi88 nailed it when describing what some in the Arab diaspora are experiencing. Like we’re living in a Black Mirror episode. Like we’re living two realities that leave us feeling detached and isolated. Watching our people and homelands being destroyed while very little people care past the price of oil. Then having to go about our normal days like nothing is happening. Like Dalia encourages in her post, we must lean on our communities, have conversations, share witnessing, and build collective support so we can regulate and continue on!
