Meet Huda
Huda Fahmy is a critically acclaimed Author/Illustrator. She grew up in Dearborn, Michigan and has loved comics since she was a kid. Huda taught English for eight years before she started writing about her experiences as a visibly Muslim woman in America. She is a National Book Award finalist for her YA graphic novel Huda F Cares?. Huda and her family reside in Texas.

Yes, change is going to happen behind the scenes, on the streets, within our own communities. They will not televise it because they do not want us united. But this doesn’t mean you can avoid all the news because it makes you sad (an actual thing people have said to me!). It’s our responsibility to get educated, stay educated, and then make some noise.
