Meet Huda
Huda Fahmy is a critically acclaimed Author/Illustrator. She grew up in Dearborn, Michigan and has loved comics since she was a kid. Huda taught English for eight years before she started writing about her experiences as a visibly Muslim woman in America. She is a National Book Award finalist for her YA graphic novel Huda F Cares?. Huda and her family reside in Texas.
In my upcoming book I write about Huda’s romantic side. She loves all things Jane Austen and has really romanticized the whole relationship scene. If you haven’t already, please preorder Huda F Would Love You? as preorders really help show publishers our stories are in demand! You can pre-order anywhere books are sold, but if you’re looking to support your local Indie bookstore try bookshop.org!

Ended the con with this last panel on being seriously funny and reminding the audience that we can be funny and still use our voices to combat fascism and genocide! Silence is a political choice of the privileged.
My favorite part of comic-con is getting to see all the amazing cosplay. The creativity, dedication, and commitment to this craft is awesome. Here are some of my favs!
